Well. I haven't read much this week. It wasn't for lack of trying - things have been very busy around here! I've been working on getting things ready for Something Beautiful's release and transitioning into a new position at work. And it's already March! How? When?
I have a little weekend away planned this weekend, so I don't know how much actual reading I'm going to get done then either. But! My plans include a day trip to the North Texas Teen Book Festival! Since I attended the Texas Book Festival last November, I've been itching to go to another, and it's time! It's the first in a series I'll be attending as I prepare for the release of Something Beautiful in the hopes that I can apply for next year. :) I'm sure I'll have some things to say about it next week, when I'm back to my normal blogging schedule.
So! This is what I'm reading this weekend - it's a little ambitious, but I'm hoping it'll be fun.
Everything Belongs to Us by Yoojin Grace Wuertz
I got this as an ARC, but it's actually out now, as of Tuesday!
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
I've been WAITING for this book for so long! I can't wait to dig into it. Plus... Angie is going to be at NTTBF17!
King's Cage by Victoria Aveyard
I mean, how could I not - now I have to know what happens to Mare, and more importantly, to Cal. Because of those teams that I just can't seem to shake, no matter how hard I try.
What are you reading this weekend/in the upcoming week?
