Hi.

Welcome to my website. I mostly talk about books and writing, but you never know what else I might chat about. I'm glad you're here!

So I’m sitting here, dreading writing this entry, because it’s that time of year again. Winter is coming. Or, if you are currently living in the path of the Polar Vortex, winter is here. I was supposed to write about Egypt today, and while I really do want to visit there, I think I’ve already covered my reasons in the posts about the Wonders of the World—history and stuff. You know. H told me that I should use this post to talk about something more constructive. He suggested my ideal car, and in the next post where I’m upset about living in this frigid place and am wishing for something different, he suggested writing about my ideal job. So, I’m taking his advice. I’m going to write about my ideal car.

Right now, I’m stuck with a Buick LeSabre from 2003. I hate it. You have no idea how much I hate it. I think I even hated it on the day I purchased it, but it’s the best I could do with the money I got for my Impala that got totaled in the South. So that’s what I’m working with.

My ideal car, for starters, will have four-wheel drive. I’d like that better than all-wheel drive, because I could take it out of four-wheel for the summer months to get better gas mileage. It will sit higher off the ground, so that I wouldn’t have to worry as much about deep snow and hydroplaning in the rain. It would have cloth seats over leather with heaters, and separate controls for the driver and the passenger. And it would be a beautiful shade of green, or maybe blue.

Does that car exist?

As it is, I’m stuck with what I have. So I’ll just keep hating it until I have the money to change it.

P.S. I’m not pleased that we are going to get snow tomorrow. Not pleased in the slightest. If that is reflected in my posts for the next couple of days, I apologize.
