Of all of the places I want to go in the future, this one isn't actually for me. It's for H. He's Norwegian, and maybe some other stuff mixed in there, and he really wants to see that part of the world. I have very little, if any, Scandinavian heritage, but that area of Europe intrigues me. Here is why: Norway: FJORDS. They look beautiful and also fascinate me.
Sweden: Where The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is set. Also fascinating (and the books are fantastic).
Finland: One of the most difficult languages to learn, including English. Finnish isn't related to any other European language, and one of the only linguistic relatives in Turkish. How interesting is that?
Denmark: HAMLET. Because I'm a Shakespeare nerd.
